NaBloPoMo 2007

How?

I just don’t understand. How? HOW? WHY?

I don’t think I’ll ever be done crying.

Carlita will get extra hugs, kisses and sweet nothings whispered in her ear today, and the next, and the next.. I wish I could hold her for all the lost children who needs to be held. I wish to be her soft spot to land for all the children who has none of their own. I wish, oh I wish.

No, I’m definitely not done crying.

It’s things like these that makes me wish there was a god, a heaven and a hell.

I’m in love

MAHJONG FOREVER!

I even paid for the damn thing, but (resisting the urge to curse) it’s (more resistance) addictive and totally worth it. Best 15€ I spent in a couple of days.

So, there I was

Dude, it’s Friday Saturday again. Our weekend started yesterday the day before yesterday because Jelly Man has every other Friday off when he is in school. As much as I love having him home a whole extra day, the following week we’re feverishly trying to adjust to a five day work week again and it ends up being a pain in the ass. But we did manage to pull our collective forces together today to tackle the Closet of Doom. Right now it looks even more chaotic in here than usual - I didn’t think it was possible, but it sure was - and even though I see a light at the end of the tunnel, the tunnel is still about two months long. Not until we get the new washing machine and dryer will I be able to get an upper hand in this perpetual fight for control in a family that houses a tornado. A small three foot tornado, yes, but utterly destructive nonetheless.

Am I the only one who is unable to get something done if XYZ is clogging up the system? For me it’s laundry. If I’m behind on laundry I’m behind on everything. Oh, but lets not forget to mention dishes. Dude, if we didn’t have a dishwasher I’d be tempted to just lie down and die right there on our ugly ass linoleum floor - how the hell did we ever get along without a damn dishwasher?!?

So, in case we get things fixed up proper this weekend there might be some before/after pictures. Cause I said something about that sort of thing happening during NaBloPoMo, I think - it sounds like something I’d say and it sounds that way because I tend to say stupid things like that (and then never following through, but that’s another matter altogether!)

Oh, and Dulces en Fuego mud… IS JUST ABOUT THE MOST VILE THING I’VE EVER SMEARED ON MY FACE. ON PURPOSE! But it did make my skin all smooth! I’m still undecided on whether or not it’s worth it.
